- Prickly Ball Farm and Hedgehog Hospital
Prickly Ball Farm is a centre of excellence for the care and rehabilitation of sick, orphaned and injured hedgehogs. As the seasons change, so do the hedgehogs admitted into the hospital. Consequently, there will be an ever-changing number of hedgehogs at the centre, each time you visit.
- Dinnaton Golf & Country Club
A demanding 9 hole course set within Dartmoor National Park with exhilarating views of the South Hams.
- The Palace Hotel Golf Course
A challenging 9-hole, par-3 short hotel golf course and separate putting green.
- Stover Golf Club
Stover Golf Club is situated very close to the A38 Plymouth Expressway and 3 miles from Newton Abbot which makes the course very accessible to both members and visitors.
- Torquay Golf Club
An interesting mature 18 hole parkland course established in 1908 with many challenging holes, some with superb views across Lyme Bay. Set within easy reach from the centre of Torquay the course is an excellent test for golfers of all abilities.
- Sparkwell Golf Club
This golf course is known in the area, for its great yearly condition and its tough and demanding test. The golf course is home to many trees much older than the house itself which makes it very demanding to golfers of every level. The course length is 2886 yards Par 68 SSS 68.
- Thurlestone Hotel Golf Course
The hotel’s own 9-hole par 3 golf course is open at all times (weather permitting) and free of charge to hotel guests. There is no need to book and a Course Map and score cards are available. Please note that we do ask adults to accompany children aged 15 and under.
- Yelverton Golf Club
A delightful moorland course, designed by Herbert Fowler, who used the old mine working as natural hazards to challenge golfers of all standards. It has outstanding views across Dartmoor and over Cornwall and is a very natural course, with Dartmoor ponies and cattle sharing the fairways.
- Elfordleigh Hotel Golf & Leisure
Our established 18 hole parkland layout has now matured into a genuine test to all level of golfer, with the plantations now in play resulting in the course offering the challenge the designer wished for.
- Wrangaton Golf Club
Wrangaton Golf Club was founded in 1895 on the southern slopes of Dartmoor. Our course is unique – 9 moorland holes and 9 parkland holes. It?s very much a course of two halves and there is nothing else like it in Devon!
- Thurlestone Golf Club
The course is a mix of links and cliff-top terrain with the latter providing fabulous views towards Bolt Tail in the East to beyond Plymouth to the West, with Burgh Island and the Avon estuary being the highlight for most people.
