Golden Sands Touring Park Surrounded by mature trees and hedges, our level touring park accommodates some 75 touring caravans and motorhomes, in a pleasant, select area. You'll find first-class toilet facilities with free showers and plenty of hot water. Disabled toilet and shower facilities are also available. There is a Chemical toilet disposal point close at hand and washing-up should be no problem in the deep sinks provided. Electric hook-ups are available by way of 240v mains electricity via standard 10amp round-pin sockets. You can make use of all the facilities and amenities of the park as well as the shop, the laundrette with coin-operated washing machines, tumble driers and free ironing facilities. Where to go - what to see At Golden Sands you are in easy reach of many popular attractions and fascinating places in this beautiful part of Devon. If you can tear yourself away from the Park or from Dawlish Warren beach, there's plenty to do and see. About a mile from the Park is the picturesque little resort of Dawlish with its attractive gardens and pretty stream - famous for its renowned Black Swans. Or you can go further afield - Torquay, Paignton, Exeter; Brixham and Exmouth are within easy driving distance. Perhaps spend a fascinating day exploring the majesty of Dartmoor and meet up with the wild ponies. Whether it's stately homes, country life museums, sleepy Devon villages or a visit to Crealey Adventure Park, you'll find much to do on your days out. Location Map & Address Leave the M5 at junction 30 and take the A379 to Dawlish. Drive through Starcross and continue on the A379 for about 2 miles. Week Lane is the 2nd turning on the left after petrol station on the left. The Park is about 200 yards down Week Lane on the left. IF COMING BY TRAIN do not book to Dawlish Warren but to DAWLISH where there are taxis and a bus service to the Park.
