Welcome to Willowfield Lake Cottages - Between Saunton and Braunton, North Devon

Willowfield Lake Cottages enjoy a superb location within Braunton Burrows Nature Reserve with 5 miles of golden sands and surf nearby. The cottages are set amidst mature trees and shrubs and are surrounded by 12 acres of pastureland, where mown paths meander through wildflower meadows to picnic areas and a tranquil and picturesque lake, which is stocked to satisfy the most ambitious coarse fisherman. There are mature stocks of carp, up to 25lbs, tench up to 7lbs, and roach up to 1.5lbs. Warm summer evenings can be enjoyed rowing peacefully across the water while the children will find adventure amongst the trees, in the fort and play area. The grounds provide plenty of open space for ball games. Giant chess is also available.

Barn Owl - sleeps 4 or 3 + cot

•	This cottage enjoys double aspect views in the lounge/dining room.

•	Bunk bedded bedroom with full size bunk beds.
•	A patio door which leads from the lounge through to the covered patio and garden which has a table, chairs and a barbeque.

Wren - sleeps 2 + 1 or cot

•	A tastefully furnished cottage with views across countryside towards the sandunes.
•	An enclosed entrance porch.
•	Sitting/dining room with new fitted kitchen for 2007, including dishwasher and washer/dryer.
•	Large double bedroom which can include cot or z-bed.

Wagtail - sleeps 5

•	A spacious cottage with views across towards the lake and meadow.
•	It has an enclosed entrance and porch.
•	Sitting/dining room.
•	New fitted kitchen for 2007, including dishwasher and washer/dryer. Double oven with a canopy over a ceramic touch control hob. Microwave and integral fridge, and 1 1/2 bowl franke sink.
•	Large double bedroom.

•	Bathroom, fully tiled with new suite including a whirlpool bath and Grohe power shower. Under floor heating with a tiled floor and wall mounted heated towel rail. All new for 2007!

Magpie - sleeps 4

•	A cottage with views stretching across the meadow and countryside, with spacious surroundings.
•	A useful entrance porch.

•	A patio door leads out from the lounge and takes you to a private area covered with patio and garden, with tables, chairs and barbeque.

Facilities

Perfect for family holidays, Willowfield Lake offers a great range of facilities. In addition to the lake there is an indoor heated swimming pool, with a shallow end, changing, w/c and showers, sun bed and a hot tub. The games room offers table tennis, pool and table football, plus an enclosed toddlers' area. Willowfield Lake is an ideal location for walking and cycling, being 1.5 miles from the Tarka Trail which follows the estuary as far as Torrington.

The tastefully furnished cluster of single storey cottages can accommodate from 2 up to 5 guests, and all enjoy soothing views of unspoilt countryside. They are comprehensively equipped including widescreen TVs with digital freeview, and DVD players, and either have their own garden or a shared one.

Local Amenities

Just 2 miles inland is Braunton, which also has good pubs and shops, excellent restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets, and a locally renowned art gallery and craft centre. Nearby are the pretty thatched villages of Croyde and Georgeham, both of which have good inns and restaurants. Just 7 miles away is the lovely old market town of Barnstaple , winner of � Britain in Bloom� in Europe . Further a field you can explore the delights of the National Trust properties of Arlington Court , Lundy Island and Heddon Valley. The RHS garden at Rosemoor and Dr Smart's garden at Marwood are other places of interest to visit.
