From the terrace there is no sign of human habitation but the surrounding hills and ancient woods contain a wealth of wildlife. There is direct access from the garden to the Moor below, and thence to the river.<br> <br> This is an immensely peaceful place, yet is within five minutes' drive of Poundsgate (Post Office/shop and pub), and only 15 minutes away from a market town and the A38. Exeter, Plymouth and the coast are all about 45 minutes by road.<br> <br> All the usual country activities can be arranged, including riding and guided walks (details from the owner).
