| The Stacey family offer you
this comfortable little hideaway - our old hayloft,
that is ideal for families and friends, birdwatchers
and walkers and lovers of Dartmoor and Devon. |
| By the way, if you don't know
Devon yet, you soon will ! This is a working Dartmoor
farm and we love to share the beauty of the area
with holidaymakers who need to escape to the countryside
and unwind a bit. |

| Accommodation Details |
| The Hayloft is a cosy barn conversion
with one double bedroom, one twin room plus one
room 'aloft' up a steep flight of stairs leading
off the living room. Youngsters love it. They can
watch over the goings on below from the space at
the top of the stairs. |
| The room has a full size mattress
and it is snug. Having said that, it has a magnificent
view from the velux window and if you have a child
who likes to read or study, or you want a space
that children can have as their den whilst they
are on holiday, then this is the perfect room. |
| If you have 2 people in your
party who would both prefer single rooms, then along
with the twin room, this might be just what you
need. |
| There is a good sized living
room with a kitchen off, which has a washer/dryer,
two ovens, hob and a steamer and dining table. We
supply an extra dining chair if needed. We have
added a poster of British birds as you will see
lots. |
| Whilst you're cooking the supper,
the kids can go off and play on the tyre swing or
say hello to the cows. |
| For anyone interested in farming,
Mick will chat about what's going on and introduce
you to the stock. |
| We do take dogs, but strictly
by arrangement, which means that you need to
chat to us about your dog first as this is a
working farm and the care of our animals must take
priority. |

| Things to do |
| There are heaps of things for
a young family to do in the area. Tavistock is a
short drive away with it's shops, busy market and
good sports centre where you can swim. Dartmoor
Gliding is a next door neighbour to us. |
| Plymouth will take you about
20 minutes if you fancy a stroll by the sea with
an ice cream in hand. |
| The whole of glorious Dartmoor
is on your doorstep with tearooms, walks, The Miniature
Pony Centre, fascinationg churches, birds to watch
including buzzards, Dartmoor ponies to find and
stroke. |
| There are plenty of gardens
to visit including The Garden House which is only
a short drive away. Buckfast Abbey and Lydford Gorge
are close at hand and other National Trust properties. |
