Smytham is a picturesque 25 acre
park, part open and part wooded within its own secluded valley. The
grounds are landscaped and provide a tranquil and relaxed holiday for
families or couples amidst some of the most beautiful scenery in the
country. We have direct access to the famous Tarka Trail, which can
be explored by foot or by bicycle. We are also in close proximity to
Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Glass.

Conveniently situated on
the A386 Bideford to Okehampton road there is easy access to beaches,
beauty spots and numerous places of interest. It is an ideal base
for touring Devon and Cornwall and for exploring Dartmoor and Exmoor,
with their superb scenery and walks, and the spectacular North Devon
Cornish coastline. |
There is a choice of excellent golf courses
within easy reach and the area is renowned for its trout and course
fishing.
You will find that most of your holiday needs are catered for at
Smytham. We have a large heated outdoor swimming pool and a children's
play area, with swings, games rooms and lots of safe open space
for games, etc. Meals are served in the Manor Restaurant and we
are fully licensed with a comfortable bar for snacks and that evening
drink in congenial surroundings. We also have a small shop and off-licence
with a good general stock of everyday essentials.
