Telephone +44 (0)1395 232431 Surrounded by farmland where cattle graze and buzzards soar overhead, the 10 acres of truly rural environment has been conserved for visitors to feast their eyes on the many varieties of birds which nest here, butterflies gathering nectar, the abundance of wild flowers and, for early risers, deer eating grass shoots. The ancient oak trees and Devon hedges have been carefully tended so that wildlife continues to happily co-exist with caravanners! As grass is left to grow naturally and no pesticides are used, there is a seasonal abundance of natural food to pick in the grounds. Blackberries go well with ice cream and mushrooms make a tasty breakfast! The park holds a Silver Award for conservation in the David Bellamy environment scheme which underlines the park’s commitment to retaining our natural heritage. The other priority has been to provide this small park with extremely high quality facilities so visitors not only feel the comfort and security of a small park where children are not too far away from their families, but also feel confident that the aim has been to provide exceptional facilities rather than the cheapest. ![]() Bring your own touring caravan, motor home or tent and use our facilities. There are two touring fields - one with electric hookup and one without electric hookup points. Both have water points and very fine views of the countryside and the River Exe & beyond to the Haldon Hills and the peaks of Dartmoor. Most pitches are 35-40 foot apart so there is plenty of room to relax and enjoy some privacy. The shower, toilet and washing up facilities are designed to provide every need for the modern caravanner. The bright facilities built in 1997 are equipped with hair dryers, vanity unit for ladies, shaving sockets, mirrors and large deep washing up sinks. Each wash basin for gentlemen and ladies is fitted in a personal cubicle. How to find us And finally you will want to know why over 85% of our visitors have stayed here before. The park is small, and you will receive a warm welcome. The setting is very convenient taking advantage of beautiful views and countryside but only a short drive from many resorts and attractions and major trunk routes. We like to think that our visitors have discovered a perfect combination of carefully monitored high standards, friendly and prompt service, value for money and the advantages of a small park with enough to keep the whole family amused.
