|
| Our pretty stone built Victorian farmhouse
is surrounded by idyllic country gardens where a large pond is the
refuge for our ducks and a variety of wildlife, an ideal 'spot' to
sit and ponder, or, perhaps gifted artists might 'capture the moment'
on canvas! An ideal opportunity to escape from a hectic life! |

both cosy and spacious, offering charming antique furniture with great
care and attention given to comfort and warmth. Enjoy excellent views
of the picturesque gardens and surrounding countryside. Fresh, crisp

player and various card or board games. |

| The Area |
| We are surrounded by both the beautiful Ruby Country
- the land between the moors and Tarka Country home to Henry Williamson's
Tarka the Otter where there is a wealth of stunning scenery and idyllic
walks. Also, very close is the highly acclaimed Cookworthy Forest
a rural resource centre which not only offers excellent forest trails
to explore but training events and networking days. The Dragon Archery
Centre offers archery for all capabilities and ages from 8+ |
| Walkers and cyclists can enjoy breathtaking views
following the scenic coastal routes, or delight in the well known
Tarka Trail and North Tamar Walkway routes. The wild but beautiful
Dartmoor and Exmoor combined with the famous and quaint villages such
as Clovelly, Hartland and Tintagel make this area one of the most
popular English locations. |
