| Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life Welcomes
You! |
| Got a couple of hours to spare? Why not
come along and explore some of our outstanding collections and
trace the fascinating history of Mid Devon, its environment
and the people who have lived and worked here. |
| The museum's vast collection - the largest
of its kind in the South West - is housed in fourteen easily
accessible galleries. |
| There is something for everyone: farming,
the development of transport (including the ‘Tivvy Bumper’ steam
engine), trades and industries, shops and packaging, costume,
the progression of washing machines, ovens and utensils in a
kitchen/laundry, a 60s room, and for young and old alike - toys
& games! |
